7 Steps to Rapidly Grow Your Organization

Speed is the name of the game in network marketing; fast and consistent beats slow and steady any day. Not only should you quickly build up your team of reps, but you must also build up both your business skills and those of your teammates. Here are some surefire things that you can do to hit your target faster and reach the tipping point where you do less work but earn more money.
1. Invite people everyday
There's no getting around this one. Contact your friends, family members, co-workers, any one you want to join your organization. Invite them to sit down with you and see the business. Expect that not everyone will say yes and not everyone will even want to meet with you. However, these invitations are the main source of your building up your team members and consequently your income. This is a good way to start since it will allow you to develop your marketing skills and get in the habit of prospecting regularly.
Aim to invite at least 5 people a day, but there's nothing stopping you from doing more!
2. Present at least once a day
Second to inviting, this is the most important thing you can do to build up your organization quickly. Schedule presentations at a convenient time and place. For efficiency, try as much as possible to present to groups of people, not just one or two. To do this, try to invite companies or entire organizations.
Even if you don't get anyone to join right then, you can at least let them know about your business and how to contact you when they're ready to make a choice.
3. Talk to your Upline
Successful networking is a team sport. While you own and control your business, it helps to approach those who've been doing it longer to ask for some advice. Just take them out for coffee and pick their brain.
If your direct upline doesn't have a lot of wisdom to offer, try a higher level upline, or even a National Sales Rep. You'll be surprised on the kind of help you'll get. After all, your upline has a vested interest in your success!
4. Know your Product and Business Thoroughly
Be sure you can recite your product's benefits flawlessly, as your knowledge (or lack of it) will influence how your clients see you. Be sure you know how the business works from top to bottom. Take the time to read your manuals, brochures, and reports. If there's anything you don't understand, don't hesitate to talk to your up-line or the company managers.  Remember that an unasked question can potentially do more damage to your reputation than a stupid one.  Also, make it a point to keep up with the latest news in regards to your company. Knowing your business helps increase your confidence and helps you sell better.
5. Attend Trainings
What should you do when you're not actively selling or recruiting? Train, of course! Your company will provide training for beginners and advanced members alike.
If your company has regularly scheduled training calls make it a habit to be on them.
The worst attitude you can have in sales is to think, “I know all that already.” Really?? You will always encounter new situations that require either a different set of skills or a different point of view. Training broadens your mind and lets you leverage other people's experiences.
Think of yourself as a woodcutter—as you go on, at some point you have to sit down and sharpen your axe. Training makes you better at what you do.
6. Meet with your Downline regularly
As often as once a week, to keep in touch and help them with their own business goals. For efficiency, meet with them as a group and try to keep things to an hour at most.
When your downline feels supported, they are more likely to work towards building up their organization—which can only help you in the long run. This is the concept of "driving the line": helping your downlines build up their people.
7. Be Your Own Client
Meaning—use the products or services yourself! The more you do so, the more familiar you become with them, making it easier to explain their benefits to your prospects. It's the easiest way to get to know your product, and at the same time, you get your own testimonials on how they benefitted you. Being your own client gives you the crediblity to convince other people that it can help them too.
One last thing—always have the attitude that you are conducting BIG business. People will want to work with someone who has a great vision for what they want to achieve and the confidence to get there. Adopting this "can-do" attitude will bring you that much closer to success. With that said don’t forget to sign up to get prospecting tools, right here.

5 Points to Think About When Choosing a Network Marketing Co.

With thousands of Network Marketing companies opening their doors every day, it’s extremely important to make sure that you align yourself with one that will be mutually beneficial for both you and the company you partner with.
After carefully observing the trends of the fly by night companies versus those that have a strong and solid reputation with a long term vision for growth and success for their Reps, I have put together a 5 Point Checklist that you must use BEFORE signing up with any company.
1. Company / Vision
Knowing the integrity and vision of your company is critical to your decision making process, and it must not be overlooked.  Far too many times, people joined up with companies where the owner just wanted to make a quick buck, and had no personal interest in the long term success of their reps.
Partnering with a company whose vision is both long term and fully committed to the growth of the company and the success of the reps will provide more security and confidence in your future and growth within that organization.
Be sure to ask questions about the ownership.  Listen in on their calls.  Attend the meetings when they speak so that you can judge the genuineness of the leaders and their intentions.  If you do this upfront, you will prevent wasting time and money and save yourself from massive heartache and disappointment later.
2. Leadership / Upline
Being associated with the right team and up-line leadership can make or break your business.  This may step on some toes but it has to be said.  Joining a company to do your cousin or brother a favor isn’t going to work if you’re not serious about building a business.  You want to make sure that your up-line and team has systems in place that will provide training and support where needed.
If you join any random team without guaranteeing that you’re under proper leadership, it won’t take long before you lose your zeal and eventually get disconnected from what’s happening within the company.
One of the benefits of being involved with a network marketing company is the ability to be amongst an exciting culture of people that motivate and challenge you to grow.  If you aren’t plugged in with that culture, the chances of you surviving alone are slim to none.
Be sure to get to know your potential upline, visit their meetings and join in on their calls to see what kind of support system you’re connected to.
3. Systems
To succeed in any business you must have systems in place to support you and the growth of your organization.  Network Marketing is all about building a team of people that duplicate you and your efforts so that you can begin developing a residual income.
The most frustrating scenario is one in which there is no structure and no systems in place that support the growth of a blossoming organization.  It’s as frustrating as sitting in traffic because that’s exactly how you’ll feel when your team is growing but the duplication isn’t happening due to a lack of systems.
Every leader should be preaching the same message.  This is not the place where you want to reinvent the wheel or promote superstardom.  The more duplicable your systems are, the quicker you’ll grow and the more success you and your team will experience.
There’s a common myth that products don’t matter, but that’s not true.  In order to generate an income in your business, you have to sell something so it’s best to ensure that you’re selling something that people are willing to buy.
Far too many times, I’ve seen people begging for a sale, trying to convince someone that they “need” their product.  The best way to master the art of sales is to be sure that you’re selling umbrellas when it’s raining and snow boots when it snows.
If your company is trying to create a market for your product, it will be much harder to convert sales, rather than selling products that are already in demand.  The reason why most people despise the term sales is simply because of the idea of “convincing people” to buy, rather than having people chase you for the purchase. Remember, “People HATE to be sold, but they LOVE to buy.”
When you are selling the right product, you will find more motivation and commitment to build your business along with great potential to keep your team inspired to continue making sales.
Be honest with yourself when assessing the potential companies’ product. Make sure you will be a customer first, if you know for a fact that you wouldn’t dare buy them, don’t fool yourself into believing others will either. Exercise integrity when choosing a company, use the product or service yourself and give honest opinions of the product.
5. Compensation Plan
Money does matter so the comp plan has to make sense.  Compensation plans can often be more complex than necessary so before partnering up with the potential companies that you’re considering, ask the following questions to make sure that your time invested in building this organization is worth it.

  1. What percentage of earnings do I make for each sale?
  2. How much do I earn for each new rep that I sign up?
  3. What is the percentage of overrides that you will earn from your organization, and what do you need to do to qualify?
  4. What bonuses are being offered and what do you need to do to earn them?
Work is definitely required in order for you to generate a generous income.  However, the compensation plan must make sense and you want to understand the numbers and the work involved to earn a decent income.

Who Makes a Good Recruit?

Potential Teammate #1: Excellent People Skills
Network Marketing is a people business, right? Therefore, it makes perfect sense that you find a teammate who loves interacting with others. An ideal business partner will be someone who can mingle with people from all walks of life. Their presence and bubbly personality should light up a room; not suck the energy out of it. Below are their known qualities:
  • Outgoing and easy to talk with
  • Articulate and can handle conversations very well
  • Don’t shy away from others; they love to be around lots of people
  • Can easily establish trust and confidence from prospects
Potential Teammate #2: Willing to be coached
A potential teammate is someone who is willing to be coached by other mentors. They are always open to learn fresh insights and new techniques to improve their performance and productivity.
These people are willing to become a student to leaders and players in the industry. They can be easily trained and mentored. No matter what type of profession they have, they are eager to be taught the skills and the system needed to provide them the results that they are looking for.
Potential Teammate #3: Dedicated and committed to the business
If you’re a dedicated and committed network marketer, it’s just right that you find someone who possesses the same qualities as yours.
You’re looking at a business model that requires a strong work ethic to succeed. So seek a business partner who has a real passion for the business and is willing to take consistent actions needed to realize their success.
Potential Teammate #4: A person of value
A potential teammate and effective business partner is someone who can package oneself into a trusted and respected figure in the industry. He/She should be able to offer valuable information to other people; someone who can identify the needs of his/her prospects and provides relevant solutions. He/She should be someone who can live up to his/her own words. In other words, your qualified teammate will always do what he/she says they’ll do.
Potential Teammate #5: Strong leadership skills
One way or the other, you’ll see your network grow, making it hard for you to guide each and every member in your organization. In order to do this, you have to find teammates who possess strong leadership skills; an authority figure that people can look up to and approach for help.
Look for that person who can navigate the network in the right direction. He/she should be someone who can supply quality teaching and trainings, provide feedback and constructive criticism, and offer unquestionable support to the organization.
The abovementioned traits may be very hard to find. Heck, you may not even find one person with all these qualities in a sea full of people. So what you really need to do is look for qualified teammates whom you can coach and hone to possess at least a good portion of each of these skills. It’s going to be a difficult task. But with all of your patience, determination, and leadership, you can watch your efforts pay off.  This can prove to be very rewarding because you will not only be helping people grow their business but you’re helping them change their lives and build their confidence. This alone can help you sustain a loyal team and create  lasting business partners.

4 Types of Network Marketing Companies

Network Marketing is a lucrative multi-billion dollar industry that has become the saving grace for many of the worlds “income seekers” during these rough economic times. If you’re considering partnering up with a company, you’ll find that there are numerous types of niches that exist within the Network Marketing Industry and they fall under four main categories.

Below is an overview of the four main industries and what they offer to partnering reps:

  1. Health and Wellness

The most common niche that exists in the Direct Sales/Network Marketing Industry today is the health and wellness niche. This industry is considered to be the most popular since more and more people are starting to become health conscious, along with the influence of the aging Baby Boomer population.

These products are highly consumable and have a wide appeal to the masses. They are usually called “alternative medicines” due to their ingredients consisting of natural herbs.

The Health & Wellness products generally promote improving body ailments, enhancing the energy and body’s immune system, while others even promote rapid weight loss without negatively harming the body.

This niche is big on autoship, direct sales and consumable products.  Working within this niche will allow you to build up a large residual income if you have a great deal of sales reps focusing on customers who consume the products and commit to autoship.

  1. Cosmetics and Personal Care

Following the trend of health and wellness is cosmetics and personal care. This niche focuses primarily on direct selling and consumer products as well, but instead of dealing with products to benefit your health, they deal directly with the image industry.

Make up and personal care product companies are designed to simply help you look your best. While health and wellness helps you feel your best.

Personal care product companies provide full marketing tools and training for specific product lines that are introduced to the market. The product line is promoted by throwing home parties, demonstrations, and business opportunity meetings. While health and wellness focuses more in recruitment, the compensation in cosmetics and personal care comes from the total number of products sold within a specific time period.

  1.  Internet Marketing Companies

Since the advent of the World Wide Web, more people are becoming Internet savvy and are seeking ways to financially benefit from it. With this Internet Marketing Revolution, network marketers are starting to switch to online marketing to promote their products and services.
As the world gets more comfortable with making purchases online, a new niche of Network Marketing industries has surfaced, and we will discuss two of these primary Internet Marketing companies below:

    1. E-commerce Companies

These are Network Marketing companies that sell various products and services over the Internet. They range from clothing lines to books to various informational tools amongst other services.

One of the most profitable Internet businesses deemed by these companies is e-book selling. The cost to create an e-book is little to none, keeping overhead very low.

Another great benefit to Internet products is that they don’t even have to pay to ship the products to the customer, thanks to digital downloads. Once purchased, the product can be instantly downloaded directly to the client’s computer, making the customer extremely happy and the company excited with pleasant profits.

Other types of downloadable information products include CDs and DVDs instruction guides and manuals, which these companies also provide as well.
    1. Internet Service Companies

There are also companies that specialize in selling internet services. Their business services focus totally on servicing the marketing with Internet tools like web hosting, web design software, auto responders, and e-mail marketing systems.

The market for this type of network marketing company is virtually unlimited since millions of traditional businesses are now recognizing the internet as their most powerful marketing and promotional tool.

  1. Party Plans

Another popular type of niche within the network marketing industry is the party-planning niche. It is mostly preferred by stay at home parents seeking part time income.

A party planning business only requires minimum investment to obtain your product demos, websites, and other marketing tools. Considered as the most family-friendly of all network marketing companies, this business is a gratifying way to earn profits. By joining a party planning company, members get to enjoy flexible schedules and take pleasure from networking with various types of people.

There are additional niches within the network marketing industry that we didn’t cover here like the traveling niche, investments niche, energy companies and motivational and educational niches.  However, as you continue on your search to find the perfect fit for you, be sure to partner with one that you believe in and will enjoy! Either way, there’s so much to gain from this industry that you can only win when joining!

One that I really like in particular is Elite Profit Network.  This company is a shopping portal. You can shop at the stores you are already shopping at anyway so it really eliminates the pressure of selling. You basically just send people to the portal to shop. I think it's a great way to get started in network marketing.
I hope you found this article helpful. All the best!

Be a True Service Provider

One of the great things I like about internet marketing is the way it forces you to personally grow. In order to master attraction marketing you have to develop a keen sense of service.  In this industry, people are looking for those who can help them. They are seeking a solution to a problem and you have to be the answer to their problem in order for them to pay you. So, your service or product is in direct relation to the profits that you earn.
When you providing quality service that’s when your income will change. The level of trust that people with afford you goes up and they will listen to you and purchase what you have to offer.  They will tell other people about you and those will buy from you as well. This is a form of leverage because you are not working any harder to produce a higher level of results.
When you develop the habit of serving people you will never feel like you are selling.  Instead of focusing on what you’ll earn. Focus on the service you can provide and think of creative ways to truly help more people then, profits will follow. It’s a natural process for you to reap benefits (profits) by sowing quality (creating value) into other people’s lives.  So profits are achieved when you reach other productivity goals.
Put yourself in your prospective customer’s shoes. Be creative in offering advice or teaching a basic skill like video blogging, etc.  Think of a way to teach it that you would like to learn it.  Your way may not be for everyone but there will surely be some out in internet land that will appreciate your delivery of that lesson.
Try to be consistent and always offer some training or information in one form or another because this will help build trust. Its true what they say, Blog regularly and eventually it will pay off.  Another great thing that will happen once you get into the habit of blogging and marketing online, you will be looking for way to provide value even during your daily activities.
Always remember that when you are serving others it is natural to be rewarded.  You don’t have to have the mindset that you are owed something but when you begin desiring to serve others from you heart, your confidence will increase and this will help make your expectation of positive things happening to you increase as well.
In order to incorporate this into your daily routine;
1.       Try to think of 1 idea everyday that will create value for newbie marketers that you can share with them.
2.        This may sound super corny but visualize yourself really helping someone solve a problem  they are having with their marketing.
3.       Keep a journal and jot down ideas of serving people that come to your mind during the day.
4.       Be creative, inject your personality into what you share.
5.       Once you get allot of ideas implemented and you’ve shared them over time, put together a product that  you can market and sell as a package to earn additional profits either in webinar format, ebook, etc.
The beauty of this industry is that there are many ways to provide value. You just need to find the one that suits you.
After you have put together your training, make sure you share your service or product with as many people as possible.  If you know that you have taken your time and put together good quality training, have confidence and expect to reap good things from the good work that you have done.

Just Do It!

You know, sometimes you’ve just got to take the bull by the horns and get out there and do what you really want to do. You don’t want to get to the end of your life and be filled with regrets because you were too afraid to try for what you really desired. Don’t let this happen to you.
As I get older and see so many things change, especially things that I just took for granted because I thought that they would always be there. And people who I wanted to do something special for, that I  thought would always be around, but they are gone now and I realize how important it is to seize the day….Carpe Diem!
If you want your life to change, you are the one that has got to do it. No matter what is going on. No one can do it for you. If you have chosen to become an internet marketer and have a burning desire to make this your “real” profession, you’ve got to take the steps necessary to make it happen.
There are daily activities that must be done in order to move forward:
You’ve got to practice and do whatever medium of communication you have chosen; blogging, making videos, article marketing, etc.  Give yourself ample time to plant seeds and watch them bear fruit. This means seeing internet marketing as a marathon and not a sprint. Don’t expect to blog something and the next day get 100 people to contact you about your great service or product. It takes time for people to feel you out and begin to trust you. But whatever you are doing, do it every day, be consistent and sharpen your skills in your chosen medium and eventually people will come.
Make sure that you focus on the income producing activities, which means marketing, talking to people, etc. This will help you get where you want to go much faster.
Reach out to at least five people every single day about your opportunity for 90 days. Set this daily quota for yourself, and no matter what happens, just do it.  Have the attitude that you are just sharing information and not trying to make a sale. You’re simply planting seeds.
Believe in yourself; read books, meditate, write in your journal, pray….do whatever you have to do to energize yourself and maintain a positive attitude about the steps you are taking to get to your desired destination. Don’t let anyone or any circumstance discourage you. Just keep going.
You have to take this profession seriously and believe in yourself. Internet marketing is a wonderful way to earn a living. It affords you the ability to have the freedom and lifestyle that you want and allows you to truly help others in soo many ways.
I encourage you to fight for this opportunity, stretch yourself and get out of your comfort zone.  Be committed and learn everything you can, do what you can daily to keep your dream or desire alive.
Just do it! Don’t let anyone or anything stop you!

Wishing you the best!

Utilize the Power of Leverage

The Power of Leverage
Network Marketing was the first place that I have ever heard about the concept of leverage.  Considering that the American Dream is often paved with a college degree and a “good education”, I would naturally assume that leverage would be a term that the white house would want to expose all of its citizens to.  However, it doesn’t happen that way.
Let’s take a look at two different but common scenarios:
Scenario 1:
As a child, you were told to study hard, get a college degree, and look for a decent job with decent pay. You followed your parents’ advice and landed a job with substantial pay—enough to cover your expenses but not sufficient to splurge on luxury items. You know that you truly deserve a promotion; with all the time and effort you’ve invested in your work. But years have already passed and you are still in the very same position you applied for.
Scenario 2:
As a child, you were told to study hard, get a college degree, and look for a decent job with decent pay. But in this case, you didn’t follow what your parents told you to do. Instead, you went out of your comfort zone and searched for the right business opportunity that is more than enough to cover both your expenses and luxurious lifestyle. A couple of years passed and you are exactly where you projected yourself to be, successful, happy, surrounded by like-minded people while far exceeding the income you would have earned had you followed the “Poor Dad” scenario.
Are you one of those people that lives your life making a living based on 100% of your own efforts? Or would you rather earn 1% out of the efforts of 100 people?
Unfortunately, the majority of the population is being educated and trained to experience the first scenario. They are taught to be a conformist—to do what others tell them to do and to look for a job after they complete a college degree. Forget about the idea of owning your own business. If you already have a job that guarantees substantial pay, why risk it all for some random idea that may never pay off?
Undeniably, in this traditional business setting, the only people who benefit from leveraging are mostly the business owners or the top executives of the company. When in fact, it is the loyal and hardworking employees that are really the ones who do all the work unfortunately, they are also the ones the least compensation. So as you can see, this situation has proven to backfire on a vast majority of people.
Sadly, these very same people claim that they would like to be their own boss but only a small percentage possess the burning desire for success and are willing to risk their comfort zones. Others are afraid of rejection, difficulties, and failure while some are simply satisfied with their jobs.
If you are not willing to stay grounded in this mindset, it’s time to learn and experience the other alternative. But you must be more than willing to take a risk and go way out of your comfort zone to pursue greater economic freedom, then you need to study and understand the principle of leverage so it can work for you.
So what is leveraging?
Leveraging is the art of duplicating your time through the efforts of others to achieve maximum results. It is through leveraging that you are given the chance to gain more with less effort. Leverage has a few meanings but in this context, I am referring to using your influence and your resources; energy, skills and efforts to achieve the maximum return by teaching others to duplicate your same activities and skills whereby there are more people working towards the same goals as opposed to you alone.
Though the force of leverage is applied to almost every aspect of your life, it is only through network marketing that you get the most out of it.
Everyone involved in network marketing is given an equal opportunity to build their own business by spending only a portion of their time and energy to experience maximum results.  Yes, you have to work very hard initially in order to build a proper foundation for your business. And also develop the proper mindset to propel it forward while influencing others but the rewards are incomparable. Through leveraging, everybody has the chance to earn what they’re worth.
One of the many advantages of proper leveraging is that whenever a business partner stops working, it will only have a minor effect on your business’ productivity. The stability of the business won’t be jeopardized and you still get to enjoy a continuous flow of residual income.
This principle allows people to live the lifestyle they choose; they can work whenever they want to and they can decide how much effort they will put into it. They get paid even on vacation! In this industry, you get to enjoy both time freedom and financial freedom at the same time.
Now ask yourself, “Are you ready to have leveraging work for you?

How to Monetize Your Blog with Pre Affiliate Videos

Internet marketing is about providing value to others. If you want to be successful at marketing you have to learn how to share quality information properly.  Your mindset in internet marketing should be about service. What can you do” to help others.
With that said, a great way to generate traffic and begin providing quality information that people can use it to do 3 to 4 minute pre-affiliate videos.   Answering a commonly asked question is one of the best and easiest ways to build your list of followers. Remember, your objective is to;
1. Educate – do a brief overview of your subject, explain the “big picture”
2. Show the benefit –if working with a product or service
3. Refer to an expert – when necessary
When done properly, this can accelerate your marketing efforts and monetize your blog or online business very rapidly.  Allowing you to get into profit mode 3 xs quicker and increasing your profits over 100%.
You’ll notice I said, “When done properly”……There are many marketers online making informational videos but some of them are going about it the wrong way.  So here are few tips to consider when going this route;
1.       Make sure your video isn’t over 4 mins. This seems to be best length, anything longer unless you’re explain something very complicated will lose readers and they won’t wait for your call to action at the end. If the information that you are providing requires more time then break it up into several videos.
2.       Don’t sell anything in your video, simply provide information and make sure you are being unbiased. Tell the truth, your honest opinions and objections with endure people to you and you’ll create lasting followers as opposed to being a “one hit salesperson”.  As a matter of fact, make sure to point out at least one downside to your product.
3.       Take your video and embed it into your blog.  Once this is done, tweet to your blog and make sure your Facebook profile is linked to your blog as well.  By all means, be sure to include your affiliate link within your video or below it so viewers have the opportunity to get more information or purchase it if they chose.
4.       Name your blog and your video post the same title, this helps google index and rank it better.

Now you can see this is a much friendlier more social way to get your brand exposed. And best of all, this promotion is FREE and it enables you to build a substantial list at no cost at all.
So go try it and make some money!
